What that means when you use the guide

Commission eligibility depends on the provider and the transaction. The provider handles checkout, availability, pricing, cancellations and customer service. A link is not a guarantee of a discount, the lowest price or a particular experience.

The rental-car comparison and tours/experiences links are examples of commission-earning links. Ordinary official-website, map and source links also appear throughout the guide; not every outbound link earns a commission. Where a commercial link is offered, a nearby notice explains the relationship.

Recommendations come first

Businesses cannot buy a favorable write-up or an ordinary editorial place in this guide. An affiliate relationship does not guarantee inclusion or a higher position. Matt selects content for local relevance and usefulness to visitors, with recommendations and facts kept open to correction.
